My Cousin George Jung Has Passed, RIP.

I feared this day would come. My cousin George Jung, Boston George, has died from complications due to cancer. In fact, he died not more than an hour from where I live by car. Yet me never met. I tried when he was in prison to contact him but I rec’d not reply. Now I was too busy to reach out to my cousin before he died. It has happened so now I can’t get his blessing to tell my story or let him know how he didn’t really leave a great legacy to follow or help the name of the two great war hero’s in our family behind him. The first died at 25 in WW 1. The 2nd, my great Uncle George Jung was a US Navy war hero. Then there was the 3rd George Jung Johnny Depp played in the movie BLOW. My father is George’s only first cousin. So now I will tell finally write down my story and get it out there.

Hundreds of children shot in the head as they play every year in the USA. Trillions being doled out by both parties and not ONE mention of money for mental health?

If I make any money on this book or movie sequel to BLOW with Johnny Depp, I will donate 10% to mental health so people get help to live a happier life.

I’m just starting to write Blow2….

it hasn’t been easy trying to write blow2.  Growing up in the family of George Jung wasn’t easy. Every family dinner I remember all the parents and grand parents getting together in one area. Either outside if it’s a BBQ, or in the house. Always the voices would be hushed when Uncle Fred Jung showed up.  That’s George Jung’s dad. He was a big dude always smoking a cigar. Dutch folks are kind of interesting. To me they seemed fairly progressive and forgiving. Not sure how George Jung ended up so fucked up with all the chances he had.  My story is eerily similar even though I never met George Jung, only his sister, mom and dad. George was gone and not allowed around by the time I was aware of my family name. I wasn’t aware of George Jung until well after this story was over. I am not sure if that’s good or bad for me…but it makes one hell of an interesting story. More to come soon. I will try to email everyone periodically links to my updates…
